Therapy: Physical, Occupational, Speech
The continuum of care at St. Joseph Health System
promotes the healing and overall wellbeing
of its patients through rehabilitation therapies
for patients of all ages. All of these
services are available to hospital inpatients.
Outpatient services are provided at several
locations.

Occupational Therapy
Promotes more
independence in activities of daily living

Physical Therapy
Is concerned with the patient’s
mobility and balance

Speech Therapy
Provides training in verbal
and written communication as well as safe
swallowing
Orthopedic Physical and Occupational/Hand Therapy
Orthopedic
Physical and Occupational/Hand Therapy are provided to outpatients
at the Montgomery Center, 1170 Montgomery Drive, and a satellite at 1287
Fulton Rd.
We offer outpatient physical and occupational (hand) therapy for sports medicine
patients, workers compensation patients, orthopedic patients, neurosurgical
patients, as well as aquatic and hand therapy.
We have a wonderful group of skilled therapists and staff who maintain a high level
of physician and patient satisfaction as well as provide a high quality
of care to all of our patients.
Physical,
Occupational and Speech Therapy are also available to children and
adults who suffer from acute or progressive neurological or other disorders
at the Sotoyome Campus at 151 Sotoyome Street or at the Fulton satellite.
Outpatient Wound Care
This service is offered in the Physical Therapy
department in the East wing of the Main Hospital
at 1165 Montgomery Drive.
Inpatient
Rehab units at Sotoyome and Fulton provide extended therapy and patient
and family training programs once the patient no longer requires acute
hospitalization.
