Professional Volunteers Leading the Way
A handful of community leaders are helping to make decisions that will shape the future of health care in Sonoma County. When you think of hospital volunteers, you probably imagine the hundreds of people at our hospitals who care for sick patients and comfort family members during difficult times.
But our boards of trustees are also volunteers, and these generous and highly qualified professionals have chosen to devote their time and talents to helping St. Joseph Health System–Sonoma County navigate its most important issues and decisions, which in turn affect the entire community. The following people serve on the board of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital:
| Andy Agwunobi, MD | Dan Lanahan |
| Herbert Castillo | Albert Maggini |
| Michael Coutré | Timothy Moratto |
| Shirley Gordon | Ernesto Olivares |
| Stephen Halpern, MD | George Pérez |
| Sr. Diane Henja, CSJ | Christopher Silva |
| Sr. Anne Hennessy, CSJ | Gene Traverso |
| Sr. Carol Marie Kelber, CSJ | Ed West, MD |
| Ezbon Jen | Joseph Zills |
| Cheryl Kellert, MD |
"Their leadership and guidance is crucial to our organization; it is because of them that we continue to flourish by providing the best quality of health care to Sonoma County residents."
