St. Joseph Health System – Sonoma County is a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. Our mission is to extend the Catholic healthcare ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, by continually improving the health and quality of life of people in the communities we serve. With a total of 346 beds, our three campuses provide a wide range of specialty services including:
- Home of the Level II Trauma Center serving the Coastal Valley region
- Heart Institute at Memorial (cardiovascular diagnostic and surgical services)
- Intensive Care Nursery directed by UCSF medical staff
- Women and Children’s Services
- Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Services
- Acute and Subacute Rehabilitation Services
- Behavioral Health Services
- Palliative Care Services
Petaluma Valley Hospital
A full-service, 80-bed hospital provides acute and critical care, transitional care and outpatient services. Services include 24-hour emergency care, Family Birthing Center, laboratory, imaging services and pulmonary rehabilitation in addition to specialized surgical services including a Day Surgery Center.
St. Joseph Urgent Care Centers
St. Joseph Urgent Care Centers can help when you are unable to obtain a timely appointment with your primary care physician, or you do not have a primary care physician and your injury or illness is not life-threatening. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis which means that wait times are usually shorter than an emergency department visit. No appointment is necessary and our hours of operation are especially convenient.

Rohnert Park Healthcare Center
On-site medical services include: Urgent Care, pre-employment and sports physicals, work related injuries, complete diagnostic services, including x-ray and laboratory, Ambulatory Infusion Center, free blood pressure screening, DMV & DOT driver's license physicals

Hospice
Memorial Hospice in Santa Rosa and Hospice of Petaluma provide support services for terminally ill patients including palliative care, expert pain and symptom management, home visits, chaplaincy and grief counseling.
Ambulatory Surgery Center Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital
The free-standing surgery center features five technologically advanced surgery suites.

St. Joseph Home Care Network of Northern California
Provides services in the patient’s home including case management, medication management, dietary counseling and symptom management. Home care professionals include nurses, therapists, home health aides, social workers and chaplains.
