James E. O’Dorisio, M.D.

James E. O’Dorisio, M.D.is a Clinical Associate of Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Chicago and a member of Santa Rosa Cardiovascular Surgery practice.

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences Center, Dr. O’Dorisio completed a surgical residency and internship at Baylor College of Medicine. He also completed a surgical residency at North Shore University Hospital at Cornell University Medical College and a cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. His fellowship, in endovascular surgery, was completed at Stanford University.

As founder of Cardiovascular Solutions, PLLC, Dr. O’Dorisio established a certified ICAVL non-invasive vascular lab and has been an endovascular associate in the Division of Vascular Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center.

He has published extensively on vascular and endovascular surgery topics and has presented on cardiothoracic techniques and technologies. Money magazine named him one of the top 5 Interventionalists in Peripheral Vascular Intervention in the Great Lakes Region in 2003.

Dr. O’Dorisio’s professional associations include the American Medical Association, the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, and the International Society for Endovascular Surgery.
