St. Joseph Orthopedic and Sports Medicine staff specializes in caring for most musculoskeletal injuries, especially the unique injuries that occur in athletics. Such specialization includes assessment and treatment of shoulder injuries, joint problems, muscle strains, tendon injuries, overuse injuries and osteoarthritis.

Sports Medicine

St. Joseph Orthopedic and Sports Medicine provides physical therapy to active individuals of all ages. From the professional, collegiate, and high school athlete to the weekend warrior or senior athlete, individuals of all ages can benefit from our service.

Sports Medicine Physical Therapy is provided by licensed physical therapists that are dedicated to excellence in the science and art of rehabilitation of all active individuals. The staff of St. Joseph Orthopedic and Sports Clinic is highly qualified.   Several staff members have dual licenses in physical therapy and athletic training.   In addition staff members have certification as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists.

St. Joseph Orthopedic and Sports Medicine staff specializes in caring for most musculoskeletal injuries, especially the unique injuries that occur in athletics. Such specialization includes assessment and treatment of shoulder injuries, particularly in the overhead athlete. These may include shoulder instability or rotator cuff disorders. Our staff is also strong in assessment and treatment of other joint problems that occur as a result of sport and activity, for example injuries to knee ligaments and cartilage and ankle ligaments. Muscle strains, tendon injuries, overuse injuries and osteoarthritis are other examples of injuries also commonly seen in our clinics.

St. Joseph Orthopedic and Sports Medicine clinic is located in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (525 Doyle Park Drive) housing state of the art equipment to help assess and rehabilitate an individual to their maximal potential. Our Montgomery Center (1170 Montgomery Drive) houses a heated therapeutic pool with a deep well for non-weight bearing exercises, a full complement of weight and aerobic equipment, and hand therapists. In addition, the Fulton Campus (1287 Fulton Road) enjoys a spacious gym along with a aerobic and weight equipment.   The staff at all three facilities shares strong skills and a desire to make your goals their goals.
